| 16 Fathoms was born in the southern part of New Jersey where the Continental shelf extends out 100 miles and the depth varies from 6 to 20 fathoms. It takes character to dive the waters off the Atlantic Coast.
The waters can be 55 degrees Fahrenheit only 45 feet down, murky green with visibility only to your fins. Yet the conversations after a night dive or an excursion on the wreck are filled with excitement, exhilaration, and adventure.
